Mrs. Adaeze Nwachukwu serves as Director of Women and Youth Affairs for the Umunya Professionals Association, championing the interests and welfare of women and young people in Umunya. An educator, community organiser, and women's advocate with over 15 years of experience working with women's groups, schools, and youth organisations in Anambra State and beyond, Mrs. Nwachukwu brings extraordinary passion and practical experience to her role. She believes that the empowerment of women and the investment in youth are the two most powerful levers for community transformation. Within UPA, she leads the Women's Wing, coordinates the youth mentorship programme, and manages the association's scholarship fund for secondary and tertiary students from Umunya. She has also established a vocational training initiative for young women and school leavers, providing skills training in tailoring, catering, cosmetology, and digital literacy. Mrs. Nwachukwu has forged partnerships with state and federal government agencies, international NGOs, and corporate sponsors to bring resources and opportunities to Umunya's women and youth. She is known across the community as a tireless advocate and a compassionate leader whose door is always open to those in need of guidance and support.
